Mission

IBCCI's mission

IBCCI's mission is to provide a platform at an international level to enable its independent and corporate members develop their business worldwide, to promote ease of trade to and from India, to promote Indian culture all across the globe, to promote wellness & sustainability through various means, to instil responsibility for social causes amongst various layers of society along with developing a feeling of patriotism for the country through our various events and initiatives.

Vision

To become one of the leading, most supportive, most rewarding and transformative enabler at an International Level in enhancing business capability, promoting Indian culture, Wellness & Sustainability Initiatives as well as supporting Social causes.

Core Objectives

  • Enabling Promotion of trade and business worldwide for the members by leveraging connections in the govt. departments and various other organisations nationally and internationally
  • Promotion of business and services through media promotions,conferences-both in India and internationally
  • Will be working with close co-ordination with Indian Embassies in a lot of countries for facilitating business, cultural exchange, sports events, work on bringing good education and medical institutions in India so that opportunities and facilities are created and available in India
  • Promotion of Indian Culture worldwide through our Media CoE created within the chamber with complete focus only on this
  • Promotion of Sports like Cricket, Hockey and Football etc.
  • Supporting causes to fight against diseases like Cancer and Autism etc. through our Wellness CoE created within the chamber with complete focus on Wellness with a special emphasis on prevention of diseases
  • Promote collaboration with foreign universities and Govt of India to establish campuses for various streams of education in India by initiating graduation and PG courses including alternative and non traditional courses. Such specialised courses are still not available in India.
  • Collaborating with various corporates, Govt. agencies and NGOs focusing on social wellbeing and sustainability issues.

  • Provide a wide platform for facilitating business & finance
  • Participation in International delegations to promote business
  • Submission of specific suggestions to the govt. on issues faced by industry & foreign investors
  • Taking up issues for resolution with autonomous bodies like ICAI, Exim Bank etc
  • Organise Seminars, Workshops etc on wide variety of subjects affecting the industry e.g. Tax, GST, Budget etc
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on Business & Industrial Forums

  • Promote mental, physical, emotional & spiritual wellness
  • Tie up with Corporates to conduct Wellness/Sustainability Programmes/Drives
  • Offer help to various Ministries to conduct Wellness Programmes
  • Submission of specific suggestions to the govt. for incorporating mind wellness programmes primarily in key areas like army, para- military and even for the betterment of inmates
  • Participation in International Delegations to promote wellness & sustainability
  • Organise events, workshops, seminars independently or as a part of Business Seminars to promote wellness objectives e.g what is mind wellness, plantation drive, save water drive, cleanliness drive etc
  • Come up with a plan to promote Wellness Tourism to India from foreign countries
  • Submit proposals to embassies to promote Wellness Tourism in India
  • Promote Indian Traditional Wellness Methodologies & Medication
  • Build Strategic Partnerships with Hospitals to provide affordable Medical Care to the people belonging to Lower Income Groups
  • Work for betterment of Autistic children/Cancer Patients
  • Promote the concept of Preventive Wellness

  • Submission of suggestions related to promotion of Indian culture abroad to Ministry of External Affairs
  • Work with Media Houses to develop films/documentaries to promote Indian Culture
  • Work with Ministry of Tourism to add value to the Incredible India initiative by participating in events
  • Work closely with the Make In India team
  • Come up with a plan to promote Spirituality Tourism to India from foreign countries
  • Submit proposals to Embassies to promote Spirituality Tourism in India
  • Organise events to promote Indian culture e.g. folk art, pottery, weaving, classical art forms, traditional practices
